Medicare-Certified Home Services

When a serious condition or chronic illness requires rehabilitation, a physician may prescribe home health care services after an illness, injury, hospital stay, or surgery. The goal is to prevent unnecessary hospitalization by providing for in-home visits by experienced and specialized clinicians.

Often covered 100% by Medicare, these home healthcare visits typically take place over a period of 30 to 60 days, last 1 hour, and can be renewed when continuing care is deemed medically necessary.
